Actress-singer Maris Racal showed her support for the people’s call for accountability by joining the September 21 rally against corruption.

A photo shared by iFM Bacolod 943 captured the Kapamilya star holding a placard that read, “Lahat ng korap dapat managot.”

The rally, dubbed “Baha sa Luneta,” drew thousands of Filipinos who marched through key areas of Manila to denounce systemic corruption and demand reforms in government.

The event coincided with the anniversary of Martial Law, a date often marked by protests highlighting the importance of justice, transparency, and democracy.

Maris's presence at the demonstration sparked discussions online, with fans and supporters commending her for taking a bold stand on a pressing national issue.

“This is about the people demanding change,” one rally leader said.

Throughout the day, demonstrators carried placards, chanted slogans, and staged performances calling for justice. Despite isolated tensions in some areas, the majority of the rally remained peaceful.

Maris has yet to issue an official statement about her participation, but her simple yet powerful gesture—holding up a sign declaring that all corrupt individuals must be held accountable—echoed the rally’s core message: corruption has no place in the country’s future.
