Actress and philanthropist Angel Locsin broke her social media silence on Sunday, September 21, to express solidarity with Filipinos who joined nationwide rallies calling for accountability and reform in government.

“Ang sa amin, galing sa hirap — ang sa inyo, galing sa mahihirap,” Locsin wrote in her post, a pointed remark underscoring how ordinary citizens struggle to make a living while corrupt practices drain resources meant for the public.
