Filipino celebrities expressed their sadness after the death of Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist, influencer, and Donald Trump supporter, who was shot while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10.

Reports said the gunman fired from a rooftop about 200 yards away, hitting Kirk 20 minutes into his speech.

Investigators believe it was a targeted attack. The news shocked many in the Philippines, with Anthony Pangilinan saying Kirk was someone you could not ignore and that his voice for God’s love will continue.

Doug Kramer also grieved, saying Kirk was one of the men he truly admired, loved Jesus, and wanted a better America.

His wife, Chesca Garcia-Kramer, also expressed heartbreak for Kirk’s family. Hayden Kho described Kirk as a source of wisdom and inspiration, while Enrique Gil posted a photo of Kirk’s family and asked for prayers.

Matteo Guidicelli reshared video news of the shooting and reminded that violence is never the solution.

Toni Gonzaga, Joyce Pring, Grae Fernandez, Quest, and Jayda also joined in mourning through their social media stories.

Kirk was best known as the co-founder of Turning Point USA, a conservative group that promotes right-wing values among young people in schools and universities.

Over the years, he became a strong voice for Trump, defending Christian beliefs, gun rights, and anti-immigration policies while gaining a large following on social media.

In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public school teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but, being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
