The actress also described her daughter as an independent young woman who is thriving. "You've grown into a strong, independent young woman — and you're really thriving in this new chapter of your life," she wrote. Despite being miles apart, Ruffa said she holds her daughter close in her heart, "Even if I can't be beside you today, every day feels like your birthday in my heart."
