Sarah Discaya, one of the contractors linked to the flood control project controversy, is not upset with comedian Michael V. for impersonating her, according to her lawyer Atty. Cornelio Samaniego.

In an ambush interview on Wednesday, the lawyer explained that Sarah is aware of the parody and is not offended by it.

He stressed that Michael V. is only doing his work as a comedian, the same way he performs his duties as a lawyer.

Michael V., popularly known as Bitoy, recently revealed a new parody character called Ciala Dismaya on GMA Network’s long-running comedy show Bubble Gang.

The character was inspired by Sarah Discaya, who has been in the spotlight after being summoned to the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee regarding the alleged anomalies in flood control projects.

According to Samaniego, Sarah even considers Michael V. as an idol and respects his craft. He said that there is no reason for them to be angry because it is simply part of the comedian’s job.

The parody has drawn attention online as many viewers await its official airing. The Bubble Gang episode featuring Ciala Dismaya is scheduled to air on Sunday, September 14, at 6:10 p.m. on GMA Network.

Sarah’s camp, meanwhile, maintains that they are focused on addressing the allegations against her, but she has no issue with the comedic portrayal.

Sa unang bahagi ng kanyang post, isinulat niya ang “My P10 Million Palace,” na may kaugnayan umano sa mga alegasyong ibinabato sa kanya ni Mayor Vico Sotto.
