In the series, Licauco will portray a character who uses his platform as a vlogger to express his views on social issues.

"My role in 'Never Say Die' is an investigative vlogger," the actor shared in a recent interview. "Through my videos, maybe on platforms, that's where I express what I like and what I don't like about the Philippines."

To ensure his portrayal is as realistic as possible, Licauco met with Super Radyo dzBB's veteran journalist Orly Trinidad.

Trinidad provided the actor with valuable insights and "pointers" on the craft of broadcast journalism.

"We had a meeting with Boss Orly Trinidad of DZBB; he was very insightful," Licauco said. "My role here is somewhat similar to what he does, so it was nice for the production to think about it, to pick up knowledge from someone who is a veteran in his field."

Licauco, a rising star in the industry, explained that he learned a lot from their consultation, particularly about the importance of adapting one's delivery to a specific audience.
