Kathryn Bernardo admitted she was just as surprised as everyone else when Dreamscape Entertainment announced her new TV project with James Reid.
She said she did not expect it, and maybe James did not expect it either.
Fans immediately called the team-up the crossover of all crossovers since both stars were once paired with other actors in famous love teams.
Reid rose to fame with Nadine Lustre, while Bernardo was known for her long-time partnership with Daniel Padilla.

Bernardo shared that when they did the look test, she also told Reid how unexpected this collaboration was after so many years.
She added that it is very exciting since it also marks Reid’s big comeback.
The actress found out about the announcement from her mom, and she expressed how happy she was to see everyone’s excitement.
She also said it has been a while since her last teleserye, and the project feels very refreshing.
According to Bernardo, the series will not focus on love teams but more on partnerships.
She said it will explore friendship, family, and women, making it different from her usual projects.
Kathryn also revealed that fans can look forward to more cast members joining them.
Working with Dreamscape Entertainment again after more than a decade felt like her first day in class, Bernardo added.
She said it was also her first long conversation with Reid, and while they are still adjusting to each other, both are very excited. Filming is set to begin next week.

Kathryn Bernardo is a Filipina actress, model, and entrepreneur, widely regarded as one of the biggest stars in the Philippine entertainment industry.
