Megastar Sharon Cuneta has once again decided to step away from social media, announcing that she will be unreachable to everyone except her family for the next few days.

The 59-year-old actress and singer made the announcement through her Instagram post on August 28.
“Hi, everyone! I will be taking a rest from Social Media and my phone will be off. I will only use the one phone I use for my family. No contact with friends and co-workers—family lang talaga. I need to detox. So I will be out of touch for several days. My mind and emotions are gonna take a vacation from everything extra! Love you all. See you again soon! God bless you always,” she wrote.
Cuneta previously went on a month-long social media break last year while recovering from a hip problem. At the time, she revealed that social media had begun to take a negative toll on her well-being.

“For two months I really did nothing but check on myself. I detoxed from social media. My God this is so embarrassing. I realized because of social media I started becoming somebody I didn’t like at all. I started becoming another person I would really despise,” she admitted in a past post.
Her decision to take a temporary break comes shortly after proudly sharing her daughters’ recent achievements.
KC Concepcion was recently welcomed back as a World Food Programme (WFP) Goodwill Ambassador, while Frankie Pangilinan continues to pursue her artistic and academic endeavors.

In her IG post, she included a caption that denoted how she got tired of wearing ponytails and now she's back in her short hair era. The look would remind fans of the Megastar in her younger years. Many celebrities also commented on her post, praising the way that she look in her new short hair era.
