Kolette also addressed her supporters, known as Moonies, asking them not to attack others on her behalf. She said she will treat this as a lesson and will do her best to improve.

The apology came after netizens noticed her “haha” reaction to a post by Xian Gaza, which appeared to take a jab at a BINI member.

Gaza’s caption on the shared video read, “Siksikan... sobrang sikip... kabaligtaran nung isang member ng BINI,” which netizens took as a pointed comment.

So far, BINI has not issued any statement regarding the issue. However, previous reports mentioned that the group is planning to file a case against an unnamed individual.

On Facebook, she wrote:

"Hello Blooms, I just wanted to say sorry for reacting and engaging to a certain post about Bini. I understand its a serious topic and I should have been more thoughtful & sensitive. I want to take full accountability and personally apologize to those who might have been offended. Moonies, I hope you don’t engage in hate train in my defense, gagamitin ko ito as a lesson. I will do my best to be better."

BINI is an all-girl Pinoy pop group formed by ABS-CBN Star Hunt Academy. Their members consist of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena. In November of 2020, BINI released their pre-debut single, “Da Coconut Nut.”

In a previous report by KAMI, P-Pop group BINI has filed a legal complaint against an unnamed individual following a series of online harassment incidents. The legal action was revealed via an Instagram Story by celebrity lawyer Atty. Joji Alonso. The complaint is linked to recent controversial remarks made bya social media personality and other online criticisms. The lawsuit sets a precedent for public figures in the Philippines seeking legal remedies against cyberbullying and defamatory content.

Additionally, BINI member Jhoanna issued an apology and clarification for her initial review of Maris Racal's film Sunshine. Her original post, which focused on mental health and resilience, was criticized for allegedly missing the film's core themes of reproductive health and abortion. Jhoanna stated that her intention was to emphasize the importance of support systems and education, and that she was open to learning from different perspectives. Film director Antoinette Jadaone came to Jhoanna's defense, stating that the P-pop star's take was a personal and valid interpretation of the movie's message.
