Megan Young, a Filipina actress and former Miss World, recently opened up about her postpartum journey, candidly sharing her thoughts on body changes and self-care after giving birth to her son.

In a recent update on her Instagram broadcast channel, Diary ni Mama Bonez, the Kapuso star shared snippets of her daily errands, revealing that she finally got the chance to visit the derma.

"Was able to go to the derma! Went to Le Meur in Greenhills for a facial and laser treatment. No body treatments because a lot are not allowed pala while breastfeeding. Next time na lang mga RF and Emsculpt," Megan wrote, revealing that she avoided to do body treatments at the clinic.

Though it was a productive self-care moment, the new mom admitted to still feeling self-conscious about her postpartum body, and the changes it experienced during and after birth.

"I'm still conscious about how my body has changed, but I have to just remind myself that I gave birth 2 months ago lang hahaha. Don't be too hard õn yourselves, mommas," she shared, offering both vulnerability and encouragement to fellow mothers navigating similar experiences.

Megan also offered a helpful skincare tip for nursing moms, saying, "If you're wondering what skincare products are okay for nursing, I like looking up products at '15 Minute Beauty.' It's a big help with checking what products are okay during pregnancy and while you're nursing."

It can be recalled that Megan and her husband, actor Mikael Daez, welcomed their first child together in May of this year. Their parenting journey has been warmly received by fans, many of whom appreciate Megan's honest and relatable updates as she embraces motherhood with grace.
