Lotlot de Leon, a well-known actress and daughter of the late Superstar Nora Aunor, touched the hearts of many netizens after she wrote a touching letter to her mother on Instagram. The post came after a special family moment, when her younger brother, Kenneth de Leon, proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Sam, delighting many of her fans and followers on the photo-sharing app.

On Sunday, July 27, Lotlot shared a video of the proposal, which also coincided with the birthday celebration of Summer. In her caption, Lotlot wrote an emotional message addressed to her late mom: "Ma, magkakasama kami kanina... birthday ni Summer, apo mo. Si Ken naman — ang bunso mo, natin — nag-propose na kay Sam. He asked for her hand in marriage. Super happy kami na naging bahagi kami ng espesyal na araw na 'to, at alam kong napangiti ka niya. Alam naming matagal mo nang binigay ang basbas mo para sa kanila," the celebrity mom wrote online.
Lotlot then went on to express how proud she is of her brother for the man he has become.

"Ken, sobrang proud ako sayo. You've grown into such a loving dad to Summer and a devoted partner to Sam — na magiging misis mo na! And Sam, thank you for loving my brother, you're such a blessing to him," Lotlot told Ken, as well as his girlfriend, Sam, whom she thanked.
She ended her message with words of love and support for the engaged couple, saying, "Lagi kaming nandito para sayo, Ken and Sam, kaming mga kapatid niyo. Mahal na mahal ka namin Ken pati na rin ang munting pamilya mo. Congratulations, Ken & Sam! We love you!"
