Barbie Forteza shared that she felt nervous about how audiences would react during the special screening of the GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs horror film “P77.”

“Dito sa paggawa ng pelikula, especially horror, mas subtle dapat 'yung mga nuances para hindi rin agad mag-give out 'yung horror, hindi ba, para may build up. And also, bukod sa horror genre kasi siya, ang very complex at very full of depth talaga 'yung karakter ni Luna. So mas ‘yun 'yung pinagtuunan ko ng pansin,” Barbie said in Athena Imperial’s Chika Minute report on 24 Oras Weekend this Saturday.

The film received praise from those who attended the screening.

“For me as a storyteller, it's more profoundly scary kasi it's touching on something na dine-deny natin na nangyayari. In the Philippines, 'yung care work ay kadalasang naiiwan sa babae,” said Rod Marmol of the Directors’ Guild of the Philippines.

“Madami siyang in-explore na themes na very personal to us, I'd like to believe, ng mga Pinoy, 'yung pag-abot ng pangarap, 'yung pagiging breadwinner,” said content creator named Yani Villarosa.

“Ang maganda dito kasi hindi palagi tina-tackle ng film industry ang mga life experiences ng tao through thriller movie pa,” said film student named Janaber Ramirez.
