Rica Peralejo, a former celebrity and now content creator, took to TikTok to release a candid 5-minute video addressing the backlash surrounding her since-deleted post on Threads.

"Let's clear this up because it's really been bothering me. So many things have been said about me," Rica began, setting the tone for an open and honest explanation. "Ina-accuse kasi ako na I hate Heart or that I’ve been demeaning her," she added in the clip, referencing Heart Evangelista.
In an effort to be fully transparent, Rica flashed the actual post in question during the video. It read: "Para maging Heart E levels ang ganda natin is not only to Aivee ha. It is also those little unseen things. Yung hindi siya napupuyat kaka-alaga ng anak, hindi siya nagluluto, di naghuhugas ng pinggan, hindi siya nagbubuhat ng mga bagahe, hindi natutulog sa substandard materials or places. In short: HINDI SIYA NAHIHIRAPAN like most of us," Rica previously wrote.

Rica later clarified her intent, saying it was just her talking about two separate and different realities, "What I was saying is na people like her, or celebs ano? And if you are going to compare it to normal people, we have two different realities. Yun lang naman talaga yung point ko."
The issue eventually took a warm turn when Heart herself acknowledged the video and responded with kindness, saying, "Don’t worry, Ate Rix, matagal na tayo. Love you always and always." Rica, clearly touched by Heart's message, replied emotionally soon after in her now-viral TikTok video: "Eh nakakaiyak yung sagot. Love you always too! Thanks for taking the time!"
