"This week, I was in the hospital 4 times. I saw Dr. @ging.md, my lovely rheumatologist, who then connected me to a neuro-opthalmologist, dermatologist, and a geneticist," Bela wrote in her now-viral Instagram post, offering her many followers a rare window into her private health journey.

Her honest revelation took an emotional turn as she admitted the toll these visits had on her perspective: "Yesterday, I told one of the doctors, I wish I just enjoyed my life fully then if I was gonna have this much to worry about so early in life. I've lived such a clean, healthy way since I was a kid, and I see people around me do crazy stuff and they're perfectly ok," she confessed.

In addition to her appointments, Bela also mentioned undergoing an MRI, sharing an important reminder for those undergoing similar procedures. "Also PS: They ended up not cutting my lockless bracelet for my MRI but we checked so many times about this first (real gold isn't magnetic apparently...) and they wrapped it heavily in tissue before I went in. PLEASE let your technicians know if you have any metal on your body before doing an MRI!" she told netizens.

"I was in St. Luke's this morning for a check up since I'm flying out tomorrow and also to pick up meds for my eyes... and I realized today that Sundays in hospitals are soooo quiet. I wasn't sure if I was happy about it or sad cause I didn't see any other patient. BTW, thank you Dr. Mariano for coming in today to treat my zombie eye," Bela had written in her next Instagram story.
