On Instagram, Angelica reflected on her 32-year journey in the entertainment industry and shared that doing theater had always been a dream of hers, "32 years na pala ako sa industriya.
While she had turned down previous opportunities due to fear and self-doubt, Angelica said everything changed when she read the script for Don't Meow For Me, Catriona by Machado.

She admitted that the play's message struck a chord with her, especially after the passing of her mother, Annabelle 'Ebela' Panganiban, in August 2024 at the age of 61.
By the end of her post, Angelica expressed a newfound appreciation for the craft of theater and those who work behind the scenes. "Kasama ng pangarap, materyal, napakahuhusay na bumubuo ng entablado, nagkaroon ako ng bagong respeto sa sining," she added in her heartfelt note.
Her vulnerability and honesty have touched netizens, as fans and fellow artists alike commend her courage—not just in stepping onto the stage for the first time, but in using her art to heal.
