This new venture sees her collaborating with U.S.-based candlemaker Grice Wax & Wicks, marking a significant step into the lifestyle and home fragrance market.

Shawie, a long-time enthusiast of scented candles, revealed her deep affection for the craft on her Instagram page.

She shared that she "LOVES making candles" and intends to develop her own brand soon. However, before unveiling her full collection, she announced an exclusive partnership with Grice Wax & Wicks, led by Kim Grice, a talented candlemaker whose products Sharon personally admired.

"For those of you in North America, there are special scented candles being prepared by a talented co-candlemaker," the Megastar posted. "She is the only one I have authorized to use my name in candles whose scents she has curated. My U.S.-based friend @gricewaxandwicks has come up with scents for me, for you to enjoy."

This endorsement highlights Shawie's trust in Grice's expertise and creative vision.

Grice Wax & Wicks, known for its "slow burn luxury" and hand-poured coconut soy wax candles with wooden wicks, excitedly confirmed the collaboration on their own Instagram page. "I’m truly honored.

Thank you for trusting my hands and my wax," @gricewaxandwicks posted. "This moment means more than words can hold. I’m super excited for your candle brand, congratulations! 🎉 The wax remembers. Always🤍"

The initial collaboration, titled "Sharon Cuneta x Grice Wax & Wicks (The First Pour)," features an 8 oz black matte vessel with a wood wick, promising a clean and soft crackle and approximately 45 hours of burn time.

The fragrance is described as "a soulful blend of florals, amber, sea salt, and tonka bean," designed to evoke a sense of presence rather than performance.

Pre-orders for this limited edition candle are already available, with a full launch expected soon.

The announcement generated immense excitement among Cuneta's vast fanbase and followers, who inundated both Instagram posts with congratulatory messages and expressions of eagerness.

Comments like "Congratulations po, Ma! 💕 😍," "Happy for you Ma! ❤️ Congrats!😍," and "wow congratulations in advance, mama 🩷✨" flooded in, showcasing the strong support for the Megastar's new endeavor.

Many fans, including @mimi_nicoel, immediately confirmed placing their orders, with some even asking if the candles would be available for purchase in the Philippines.

Friends and fellow industry figures also chimed in with support. User @lalcrowe, seemingly a mutual acquaintance, expressed appreciation for Cuneta entrusting this partnership to "good friend @ms.grice_," highlighting Kim Grice's character and the elegance infused in her work.

Shawie has previously shared insights into her candle-making hobby, revealing in February 2025 that she had taken a U.S.-based online candle-making course, emphasizing that it's "not simple" and involves "computations."

This dedication to the craft underscores her genuine passion for candles, which she now translates into a business venture.

The collaboration with Grice Wax & Wicks aims to bring high-quality, non-toxic, and luxuriously scented candles to a broader audience, embodying the "legacy collection" and "aromatherapy fragrances" highlighted in the product's description.

Sharon Cuneta is a Filipino actress, singer, television host, and entrepreneur. She is often referred to as the "Megastar" of Philippine entertainment due to her decades-long career and immense influence in the industry. She is also the mother of KC Concepcion, her daughter with fellow actor, Gabby Concepcion. In 1996, the Megastar tied the knot with Kiko Pangilinan, a former Senator. Kiko and Shawie then have three truly wonderful children.

Recently, Shawie flexed the coffee mug she received inscribed with the Filipino phrase “The one sure thing amidst thousands of doubts,” which she described as “the sweetest yet” among her many tokens of appreciation. Sharon made a public appeal on social media for the fan who sent the gift to identify themselves, as the accompanying note was misplaced among the numerous packages she receives. Loyal followers, known as “Sharonians,” quickly identified the inscription as a line from Ebe Dancel's song “Bawat Daan.” The comment section of Sharon’s post was flooded with messages of love, longing, and unwavering devotion from her “Sharonians,” underscoring the deep and enduring bond between the Megastar and her fanbase.

Previously, Sharon Cuneta shared photos of her new haircut where she donned shorter hair. In her IG post, she included a caption that denoted how she got tired of wearing ponytails and now she's back in her short hair era. The look would remind fans of the Megastar in her younger years. Many celebrities also commented on her post, praising the way that she look in her new short hair era.
