Andrea Torres reveals she's still single but not closing doors to dating

Actress Andrea Torres shared that she is still single but remains open to falling in love again.

In her guest appearance on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Tuesday, Andrea revealed that being single for long periods is nothing new to her.

“Hindi na bago sa akin po 'to ah, kasi usually talaga, in between ng boyfriends ko, two years, three years, matagal talaga,” she said.

Andrea confirmed that her last relationship was with actor Derek Ramsay. “Parang three years [ago] po ata kung tama ang bilang ko,” she recalled.

When asked if she’s ready to date again, Andrea responded positively: “Pagka sinabi ng friends ko na, ‘Uy, meet mo ‘to, feel ko bagay kayo.’ Sige, mi-meet ko 'yan. Tingnan natin.”

The actress emphasized that she doesn’t want to force herself into a relationship. For her, the feeling of “spark” and connection is crucial.

“Alam kong once ma-feel ko ‘yun, dire-diretso na ‘yun,” she explained. “I'm sure 'pag ready na ako, darating ‘yan.”

As for physical appearance, Andrea said it’s not her top priority.

“Feeling ko it's really sa ugali, kung mag-ja-jive kami, kung may pagka-old school siguro siya. Tsaka doon sa kilig na ‘yun. Importante ‘yun, ‘di ba, tito?” she added.

Andrea is set to star in the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series "Akusada" alongside Benjamin Alves, Lianne Valentin, Marco Masa, Sandy Andolong, and more. Directed by Dominic Zapata, it premieres on June 30 at 4 p.m.

She is known for her roles in "You To Me Are Everything," "With a Smile" and "Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga." Andrea received awards and nominations after playing the role of Sisa in "Maria Clara at Ibarra."

Previously, Kim Chiu took to social media and reposted snaps of her meeting with Andrea on "It's Showtime." Andrea was a guest on the show, and everyone simply liked her. The photos that Kim reposted showed how they were like instant BFFs, hugging and laughing at each other. "Nice to meet you," was the caption of the Chinita Princess.

In an earlier post, Andrea expressed her happiness at the praises she earned due to her commendable portrayal of Sisa. The Kapuso star played the said Noli Me Tangere character in the hit and multi-awarded Kapuso primetime series, “Maria Clara at Ibarra.” The actress took to her Twitter account to share how grateful she is for the positive comments she received. She also expressed happiness over netizens’ remarks saying their notions about Sisa changed because of how she gave justice to the role.
