But away from the spotlight, he reveals a softer, more reflective side—especially when the topic turns to family.

His dad had a knack for recording everyday moments on camera, especially during the holidays.

Whether it was posed family portraits or candid scenes around the house, everything was captured. Watching those films years later, they could see their family’s story unfolding, one frame at a time.

Gary has kept that tradition alive, though now with digital tools. He’s often the one filming their memories, and doing so connects him even more deeply to his father’s memory.

Those vintage videos still hold a special place in his heart.

“Hanggang ngayon ’pag pinapanood ko ’yung mga films, siyempre, ’yung mga memories nandu’n pa rin lahat, nakatago at buhay na buhay pa sa puso ko.”

He now enjoys showing these treasured clips to his children, alongside his own footage of them.

Reflecting on his kids, Gary shared that each one of them mirrors parts of his personality—something he finds both heartwarming and humbling as a father.
