Known for being outspoken about national issues, Diaz posed a question to his followers that seemed to reflect his views on the current state of Philippine politics.

“How would you describe the kind of politicians (not as a public servant) that we have right now?” Diaz asked.

The post featured a striking background image — a wooden sculpture of a mother pig surrounded by numerous piglets aggressively feeding from her.

The symbolic imagery did not go unnoticed by netizens, who were quick to interpret it as commentary on greed and self-interest among those in power.

The visual metaphor appeared to suggest how some politicians may be more focused on taking rather than giving back to the people they were elected to serve.

While Diaz did not name anyone in particular, the implication was clear and drew various reactions from his followers, ranging from agreement to calls for accountability.

Ogie Diaz has long used his platform to speak out on political matters, often drawing both praise and criticism.

He has never shied away from expressing his stance, especially when it comes to issues affecting ordinary Filipinos.

In a digital space where celebrities are sometimes hesitant to engage in political discourse, Diaz continues to use his voice to spark reflection — and in this case, perhaps a bit of discomfort — about the country’s political climate.

Ogie Diaz is an actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was known as “Pekto” in the popular TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also the content creator behind the YouTube channel “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update,” which is one of the most anticipated weekly as a source of hot showbiz news. He is also among the most outspoken celebs as he will not mince words when he comments on something, whether it be in showbiz or politics.

In a previous report by KAMI, Ogie debunked a malicious claim about Heart Evangelista and Brandon Boyd. On Stories, Ogie posted a screenshot of a content by a YouTube channel called Blind Item University. The channel falsely claimed that Heart and the Incubus frontman have a child. The content likewise has a thumbnail containing emotional images of Ogie and Heart, making them look like the showbiz reporter was interviewing the Kapuso actress.

Just recently, Ogie also called out a Facebook page that spreads fake news about Albert Martinez and Yen Santos. In his post on Tuesday, May 27, Ogie shared a screenshot showing a post by the said page, Fame Chronicles. It claimed that the veteran actor and the actress have a “love child.” “FAKE NEWS KAYO, @Fame Chronicles!!!” Mama Ogs then wrote. He likewise asked the public to report the page for spreading fabricated news.
