Alodia Gosiengfiao-Quimbo embraces the joys and challenges of new motherhood

Cosplayer and content creator Alodia Gosiengfiao-Quimbo is enjoying every moment of being a first-time mom to her baby boy, Cameron, whom she welcomed in November last year with her husband, businessman Christopher Quimbo.

Speaking at the grand launch of Midnight Dream Studio at K-Park, On Top of The Glo in Glorietta Mall, Makati, Alodia opened up about her new chapter as a mother.

“Motherhood has changed me a lot. It’s really a lot of planning and partnership with my husband and it’s a different feeling if you care for someone, especially your child,” she shared in an exclusive conversation with The STAR.

She admitted that the most difficult part of this journey is finding time, something many new parents can relate to.

“The most challenging part really is yung sinasabi nila na nauubusan ka ng time. It’s true because you really spend time with your baby and whatnot but it’s like super rewarding and you lose track of time. (His) smiles, laughter, sobrang saya,” she added.

When asked about their parenting style, Alodia confessed they’ve been more indulgent so far.

“As much as I wanted to be balanced, I think for now we kind of spoil him with stuff because he doesn’t know much pa naman. So, maybe in the future, we will balance that.”

She also shared that Cameron has already shown a fondness for music.

Alodia Gosiengfiao is a Filipina cosplayer, endorser, actress, and TV presenter. She also has a commendable talent for playing piano and sketching. She is likewise known as Senpai Alodia of the Philippines. She tied the knot with Christopher Quimbo on February 14, 2023 in a star-studded dream fantasy-themed Christian wedding ceremony at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City.
