On its social media pages, the label posted a screenshot of the fake content published on a Facebook page called "Investment Illumination."
“It has come to our attention that a certain Facebook page is using the image of one of our artists, Anne Curtis-Smith, illegally without any authority whatsoever,” VAA stated.
It then denied Anne’s any link to the page and stressed that the video was apparently manipulated using artificial intelligence (AI).

“Please be informed that Anne is not connected in any way to the said Facebook page. The video is a deepfâke, a product of AI, and was made without the consent of Anne nor of Viva.”
“We do not condone such acts, and those found responsible shall be dealt with severely and held civilly and criminally liable to the maximum extent possible under the law,” it continued, assuring that VAA will seek legal action against the individual or group behind the video.
Furthermore, the agency urged all netizens to stay vigilant amid the spread of fake online content.
“We urge the public to be vigilant and discerning of online scams and illegal uses of AI to mislead and spread fake information.”
Anne Curtis-Smith is a Filipino-Australian actress and television host. She gained prominence through various television roles, including appearances in "Hiram," "Maging Sino Ka Man," and "Dyosa." Since 2009, she has been a mainstay host of ABS-CBN's noontime variety show, "It's Showtime." Her younger sister, Jasmine, is also an actress. In her personal life, Anne is married to Erwan Heussaff. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Dahlia Amélie, in 2020.
Anne Curtis, a certified trendsetter, just proved once again why she holds that title after her fans went gaga on social media over her bold yet dramatic new look for a film. On May 27, Anne shared a video on Instagram showing her getting a haircut for her new action film with director Erik Matti. In the now-viral clip, Anne is seen chopping off her signature long hair and debuting a fierce wolf cut — a layered, edgy style that perfectly suits her bold persona, and her highly-anticipated role.
Song Hye Kyo followed Anne Curtis on Instagram, sparking excitement among fans of both stars. The two actresses were seen together in Seoul, attending model Irene Kim’s wedding alongside Bryanboy and Kim Jones. Fans recalled Anne’s admiration for Hye Kyo, especially after Park Bo Gum once told Anne she looked like the Korean star.
