Heart Evangelista, a global fashion icon and Kapuso actress, warmed hearts online after responding to an emotional and grateful post from her longtime fan and friend, Nestle Almario.

On Thursday, May 22, Nestle took to Instagram to share her most recent encounter with Heart.

In a candid and heartfelt post on the photo-sharing app, Nestle recounted how much the meeting meant to her, not just as a fan, but as someone who has admired the Kapuso star for years as well.

"Sumakses ako today! Pero grabe, bakit ang bait bait mo? Iniisip ko talaga kanina bakit sobrang bait nitong babae na 'to!" Nestle wrote, still in awe of Heart's unexpected kindness towards her.

According to Nestle, she was at the mall knowing Heart would be there too, but was surprised when Heart noticed her after a few minutes and rushed to greet her with a warm hug afterward.

"Sabi niya, 'Na-miss kita! Kamusta ka? Pumili ka ng shoes mo diyan or kung ano gusto mo.' Gurl, hiyang-hiya ako, hindi ako sanay," Nestle shared with her followers on the photo-sharing app.

Nestle admitted feeling shy and overwhelmed by Heart's generosity and openness towards her.

She even shared how Heart teasingly insisted she pick something out: "Ilang beses ako tumanggi pero medyo natakot ako konti sa linya na, 'Kapag hindi ka pumili, hindi na kita kakausapin.'"

Heart's concern didn't stop there, however, as Nestle hesitated, with Heart making sure to check on her longtime supporter, "Nakailang tanong siya sakin kung nakapili na ako ng shoes, sabi ko walang size, [tas] sabi niya, 'Diba size 7 ka? Meron ako Onitsuka sa bahay, 2 yun, sayo ang isa.'"

By the end of her post, Nestle couldn't help but wonder: "Fan lang naman ako at siya si Heart Evangelista na International Fashion Icon. Grabe ka Hearty! Kaya sobrang mahal na mahal kita."

However, the story didn't end there as Heart herself responded to the post with a comment that touched many online, "Alam mo yan, minahal mo ako nung walang wala... lab you, ganda."
