On Saturday, May 17, Dimples took to Instagram to post a video of her meeting with the couple.

The actress, along with her co-star Joem Bascon, portrayed Lovella and Cruz in the special two-part episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya, which aims to honor the memory of the Maguad siblings.

Reflecting on the weight of the role, Dimples expressed how personal and emotionally demanding the project was, "Ang maatasang ikwento ang @mmkofficial #MMKMaguadFamilyStory ay hindi naging madali para sa akin, para sa aming lahat. Pero alang-alang sa alaala nina BoyBoy at Gwynn, buong puso, tapang, at ingat namin itong sinubok ilahad in a two-part special to honor their memory and the great love that remains of Mama Lovella and Papa Cruz," she wrote.

Dimples also opened up about the emotional toll the episode took on her, describing the filming process as painful, "This journey was painful, yet in those darkest of times, just like Mama Lovella, and Papa Cruz, I found the light in you all. To God be all the glory," she shared on her page.

In her post, Dimples also shared a poignant reminder: "May every family embrace their children and their parents tighter and stronger after watching our episodes. May justice and peace prevail."

Ending her post with a dedication, Dimples said, "Ate Gwynn and Kuya BoyBoy, para sa inyo ito."
