Iginagalang po natin at mapagkumbabang tinatanggap po ang desisyon na ito ng mamamayan.” (The Oriental Mindoreños have decided, although the results did not favor your servant, I am happy that we gave our all to show our clean intention to serve our province. We respect and humbly accept this decision of the people.)

Despite the electoral outcome, Ejay assured his supporters and the public that his commitment to public service remains unwavering.

He pledged to continue contributing to the welfare of the community, even as a private citizen. “Umasa po kayo na hindi po natatapos ang serbisyo ni Ejay Falcon bilang lingkod bayan. We will return as private citizens, but our assistance for the interest of our people will still be there.)

He expressed his hope that Umali’s victory would inspire him to serve not only his supporters but also the entire population of the 2nd District of Oriental Mindoro. “Gusto ko rin pong ipaabot kay Congressman Boy PA Umali ang aking pagbati. Congratulations po! Nawa po ang pagkapanalo nyo’y magbigay ng mas maalab na inspirasyon para lalong tulungan hindi lamang po ang mga taong sumuporta sa inyo kundi ang buong mindoreños ng segunda distrito.” (I would also like to extend my congratulations to Congressman Boy PA Umali. Congratulations! May your victory give a more fervent inspiration to further help not only those who supported you but the entire Mindoreños of the second district.)

Ejay Falcon is a Pinoy-French actor, endorser, and model. He was born on November 21, 1989. In 2008, he joined and emerged as the “Big Winner” of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus, besting his close rival, Robi Domingo, by a small margin to win the P1.5 million prize. He ran for politics for the first time and became the vice governor of Oriental Mindoro.

Last year, Ejay’s dream of finishing college and having a degree came to fruition as he stepped on stage to get his diploma. In a video shared by the Philippine Star, Ejay can be seen wearing a toga and confidently climbing up the stairs where he was handed his Bachelor’s Degree diploma. In a statement, the actor said he still can’t believe he was able to graduate at last. The actor rose to prominence after being declared as the winner in Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus in 2008.

Previously, he also took to Facebook and expressed his thoughts on the names of the typhoons that hit the Philippines. The first one was "Egay," and the next is "Falcon." When one looks at the name of Ejay, one could see that his first name, "Ejay" is very much similar to "Egay" while his family name is exactly like that of the typhoon. He said in his comment that he is in no way related to the said typhoons.
