Dennis and Gene Padilla took to their Instagram pages and dedicated heartfelt posts to their mother, Catalina Dominguez, or simply Lina.

On Sunday, May 11, Mother’s Day, Dennis shared a lovely snapshot showing him and his mom smiling as they pose for a selfie.

It likewise contains an on-screen text where Dennis expressed his short but affectionate message to Catalina. He sweetly wished his mom a happy Mother’s Day and expressed his love for Catalina.

“Happiiii mother's day mama... We love you,” the text reads.

In the caption, the actor also reiterated, “We love you mama,” accompanied by folded hands and red heart emojis.

Meanwhile, Gene posted a heartwarming video of Lina fondly talking about her family, especially her grandchildren.

Dennis Padilla, born Dennis Esteban Dominguez Baldivia on February 9, 1962, is a Filipino entertainer known for his work as a comedian and actor. He is the son of the late comedian Dencio Padilla. Over the years, he has been featured in numerous films and television series, showcasing his versatility as a performer.

In his personal life, Dennis was married to actress Marjorie Barretto from 1995 until their annulment in 2009. The couple has three children: Julia, Claudia, and Leon. Dennis is now estranged from his children with Marjorie. Marjorie Barretto is a Filipino actress and the sister of Claudine and Gretchen Barretto. She has five children from her past relationships: one with actor Kier Legaspi (Dani), three with Dennis, and one with former Caloocan mayor Enrico Echiverri (Erich).
