Matteo Guidicelli, an actor and entrepreneur, has publicly reacted to the tragic incident that occurred at NAIA Terminal 1 during the early hours of Sunday, May 4, which stirred online buzz.
On his Instagram page, Matteo reposted the CCTV footage released by Unang Hirit, which captured the heartbreaking accident that has since drawn national attention and widespread sorrow.

In his now-viral online post, Matteo shared his candid thoughts on the incident, expressing grief and a strong stance on accountability for the driver who was behind the wheels of the car.

"This is horrible. Thoughts and prayers to the victims of this devastating accident. The driver must face the proper consequences," the actor had written on his official Instagram page.

According to Philstar, the devastating crash resulted in the deaths of a man and a child, while several others were injured when a car accelerated from the parking lot into the departure area.
The emotional toll of the tragedy was further underscored in Inquirer's report, which described how the father of the young victim—an overseas Filipino worker—was seen wailing in anguish.
A deeply moving detail, reported by ABS-CBN News, revealed that just moments before the accident, the OFW, identified as Mark Masongsong, had given his daughter a final hug and kiss before saying goodbye at the terminal as his family had dropped him off after his long vacation.
Aside from Matteo, actress Jessy Mendiola also addressed the incident on her Instagram.
In her statement, she acknowledged the responsibility of the driver but stressed the need for broader structural improvements at the airport, citing that NAIA needs some changing as well.
