A few weeks ago, McShain shared a final update on her cancer journey via an emotional Instagram post.

In the post released on April 6, the influencer revealed she had entered end-of-life care due to her rapidly deteriorating condition.

“I want to be direct with you all: this will be my final update on my cancer journey until I have passed away. I've recently been given a prognosis about 5 days ago of only a few days to a few weeks to live. My liver is failing rapidly to the point of jaundice and the cancer is progressing quickly. Because of this, I'm no longer able to receive any treatments, including the chemo I've been on for 7 months over last year. At this point, I've transitioned into end-of-life care, focusing on pain relief and managing side effects, with so much time spent in both the hospital and hospice facilities,” part of her last IG post read.

Meanwhile, her final TikTok content was posted on April 11, in which she apologized for her “lack of updates.”

Dominique McShain was an influencer based in New Zealand. She had gained over 200,000 followers on TikTok and 11,000 followers on Instagram by documenting her cancer journey, aiming to raise awareness about colorectal cancer.
