"Hangga't may oras ako na makapiling ko yung dalawang nanay ko, gagawin ko kahit palipad-lipad man ako sa Cagayan o Japan nang paulit-ulit, gagawin ko. Sobrang mahal ko sila," Maymay said, her voice trembling as she spoke of her mother and grandmother, whom she is fond of.

During the press conference, Maymay also shared a rare moment of honesty and vulnerability.

"Lahat naman tayo may pinagdadaanan at masasabi ko na isa 'to sa pinakamalaking challenges sa buhay ko, kasi syempre, dalawa sa nanay ko yung may pinagdadaanan," she said to the host.

"Si Mama Ludy, nasa Cagayan de Oro siya ngayon, yung treatment niya eh tuloy tuloy pa rin tsaka yung nanay ko rin, sabay sila. Pero mas malala lang yun sa nanay ko," she confessed to DJ Jhaiho.
