Dennis Padilla's brother, Gene Padilla, broke his silence on Wednesday, April 9, through a heartfelt and explosive Instagram post, revealing what he claimed to be the real reason why his brother, actor Dennis Padilla, looked visibly saddened during a recent wedding they had attended together.

Gene, a comedian and actor himself, took to social media to post photos of himself with Dennis and their mother inside a church, presumably moments before the wedding ceremony began.

However, along with the photos came a powerful message describing the events that allegedly left Dennis emotional and hurt at the event, which further stirred much buzz among netizens online.

"Ngayon lang po ako magsasalita... by 1 PM nasa church na po ako... galing Bulacan going to Alabang... si mama po namin 5 AM gumising na excited same kay Kuya Dennis Padilla para sa kasal ng anak niya... ngayon lang ako naka-witness ng kasal na di part ng program ang ama ng bride... sa aga namin dun... na nandun mga event organizer wala man lang nagsabi na di siya part ng program..." Gene recalled in his now-viral post on the known photo-sharing app Instagram.

In his post, Gene claimed that, to their surprise, Dennis was not included in the program at all.

"Di kasama sa entourage na maglalakad sa gitna papuntang harapan ng altar... nagtanong kami kung san uupo ang nanay namin, ang sabi kahit saan dun at yung ama dun na lang DAW tumabi sa mga ninong... kaya kami ni Kuya Dennis pumunta na lamang sa likuran..." the comedian said.

Gene said they eventually decided to quietly stay in the back and that upon seeing the sadness in his brother's eyes, he suggested they just take a photo with the newlyweds and go home after.

"Napaluha at napaiyak si Kuya sa mga nangyari… kaya sabi ko umuwi na tayo after ng simbahan at pa-picture na lang sa kinasal," Gene recalled, clearly affected himself before continuing, "Naramdaman ko yung sakit na naramdaman ng kapatid at nanay ko dahil ama rin ako…"

By the end of the post, Gene concluded it with a sharp note about Dennis being treated like a guest.

"Puro kayo karangyaan at kasikatan… sa inyo na lahat yan… sanay kami sa hirap at di talaga kami nababagay sa inyo," Gene wrote before adding, "Dennis Dominguez Padilla… di pala father of the BRIDE! Guest of the BRIDE!"

The veteran actor took to social media to share a photo of the emotional moment they had during their reunion. As seen in the snapshot, Dennis warmly hugged his beloved kids. As per the celebrity dad, he did not see Gavin and Maddie for four years.

Meanwhile, Dennis Padilla made an appeal to a bank. In a message written on a sheet of paper, it implored the bank to temporarily stop collecting credit card dues amid the typhoon. In the comments, Dennis also mentioned that many Pinoys in Central Luzon are experiencing a flood. He requested that the collectors get right down to it after the typhoon.
