Jennica Garcia, a Filipina actress, took to social media to share her frustration after commuting all the way to Cainta, only to find out that the store she intended to visit had already closed down.

On Thursday, April 3, Jennica posted a photo of herself frowning, expressing her disappointment over the unexpected turn of events she encountered that day, which resonated with some people.

In her caption, she explained her journey and the meticulous effort she put into visiting various Japan Surplus stores, though she did not explain or indicate why she has been looking for one.

"SAKLAP (JAPAN SURPLUS). Commute lang po ako papunta Cainta. Ini-isa isa ko kasi mga JAPAN SURPLUS na kaya ko puntahan mga idol," she began in her now-viral post on the Facebook site.

She further elaborated that she had researched a specific store, 1RJAJ Trading Company Inc., and was under the impression that it was still operational based on the research she made online.

However, upon arrival, she found out that the establishment had been closed for three months.

"I googled 1RJAJ Trading Company Inc. Open daw until 9 PM today pero matagal na po pala sarado. 3 months na raw. May ma-recommend po kayo na puntahan ko para hindi po masayang binyahe ko? Itong araw na ito sinet ko kasi talaga po sana for Japan Surplus," Jennica added.

Hoping to salvage her trip, she sought recommendations from netizens on other Japan Surplus stores still in business and specifically asked about the YedYan Japan Surplus in Las Piñas.

"YedYan Japan Surplus ba sa Las Piñas bukas pa po? When I googled, open daw po until 9 PM kaya lang ganun din kasi sabi sa 1RJAJ Trading Company Inc kaya di ko po alam kung isugal ko pa bang byahihin o hindi na lang po."

To help others avoid the same mistake, Jennica left a gentle reminder in the comment section.

"Mga idol, yung mga nasa TikTok, pag posted around mid-2024 or later na Japan Surplus, double check niyo po muna kung bukas pa kasi karamihan nagsara na po ha?" she wrote.
