Kim Chiu's eldest sister, Lakambini 'Lakam' Chiu, recently shared her thoughts on Paulo Avelino, whom Kim has recently been romantically linked with amid their several projects together.

In a recent interview posted on entertainment editor Salve Asis's official Instagram page, Kim's eldest sister was asked to give her honest opinion and thoughts about the dashing actor as well.

The video even featured a noteworthy caption stating, "Ate Lakambini ni Kim, boto kay Paulo!"

When asked about Paulo, Lakambini expressed her support, saying if Kim is happy, then they are happy for the actress as well, "Me as [an] ate, I don't want naman na parang maging protective ka kasi we have our own lives. Kung saan siya masaya, and I know she is happy, happy na rin kami."

This statement comes amid growing speculation about the relationship between Kim and Paulo.

Previously, the two actors have collaborated on several projects, including the drama series Linlang, where Kim first worked alongside Paulo, who played as her husband in the TV show.

Eventually, their on-screen chemistry has led to further collaborations, such as the Philippine adaptation of the South Korean series What's Wrong With Secretary Kim and their first romantic-comedy movie together, My Love Will Make You Disappear, which was directed by Chad Vidanes.

The closeness of the two celebrities continues to attract 'KimPau' fans on social media as well.

Earlier, Paulo was even included in Kim's heartfelt gratitude post on Instagram after winning at the 38th PMPC Star Awards that was recently held at the grand Dolphy Theater this year.

Meanwhile, Kim Chiu has shared the thoughtful gesture of a local bakeshop. Earlier, on Instagram, Kim posted photos showcasing flowers and a handwritten letter. In her post, Kim expressed her gratitude towards the bakeshop for their support. Previously, Kim's tarpaulins for the bakeshop allegedly in Davao were covered by some people.
