On Sunday, March 16, Ogie shared his frank claim regarding fake news peddlers.
According to Mama Ogs, those who create fabricated news do not like the real news they see.
As a result, the showbiz reporter and talent manager said such individuals then purportedly spread fallacious information favorable to their beliefs.

“Pag ayaw ng balita, fake news. Tapos, sila din ang gumagawa ng fake news. Kasi yun ang gusto nilang balita,” Ogie wrote.

Previously, Ogie said he recently offered a prayer to former president Rodrigo Duterte.
As per the entertainment reporter, he recently went to the church and prayed for the former leader’s safety while the latter is being detained at the International Criminal Court (ICC) Detention Center in Scheveningen, The Hague, Netherlands.
“Nagsimba ako. Ipinagdasal ko na sana ay safe at nasa mabuting kalagayan ang Dating Pangulo sa Netherlands.”
“Sana, yun din ang unang-unang ginagawa ng karamihan ng supporters ng dating Pangulo kesa makipag-away sa socmed. Prayer vigil dapat,” Ogie frankly continued.
The talent manager even defended Vhong Navarro and Kim Chiu in his post.
“Walang mangyayari kung inaatake n'yo ang mga tulad nina Vhong Navarro at Kim Chiu na wala namang ginagawang masama sa inyo.”
He stressed, “Nagbabasa lang naman sila ng spiels sa ‘It's Showtime,’ pero ang dating sa inyo, pinariringgan kayo.”
