"Tama na po! Tama na po! May test pa ako bukas..." the 17-year-old student reportedly told the police officers before he was fatally shot in 2017.
The Kapamilya actor also wrote a meaningful caption regarding Kian’s case.
"Ang mali ay may bayad, at ngayon na ang singilan," Jake’s caption reads.
Kian’s demise became one of the most controversial incidents of former President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on dr&gs, as witness accounts and CCTV footage contradicted the police’s official narrative.
His case sparked outrage across the country, fueling debates on human rights violations allegedly committed during Duterte’s administration. Witnesses maintained that the young student was dragged and executed, while police initially claimed he fought back.
The officers involved were later found guilty of murder.
The actor’s now-viral post came just moments after news broke of Duterte’s arrest, following a warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for crimes against humanity.
Malacañang released an official statement detailing the sequence of events leading up to the former president’s arrest.
The statement, shared by GMA News, assured the public that Duterte and his group remain in good health and are in good condition.
The Palace also confirmed that the arrest was carried out by officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP), who were equipped with body cameras to ensure transparency in the process.

He was born on March 27, 1990, to actress, Laarni Enriquez, and actor-turned-politician, former President Joseph "Erap" Ejercito Estrada. He is also known for being the father of Ellie, his daughter with Andi Eigenmann.
As previous reported by KAMI, Jake addressed the buzz over his recent post. Earlier, on Facebook, Jake wrote what seemed to be a cryptic message about 'feelings.' This prompted several netizens to speculate who or what Jake's post could be for as well. Eventually, the actor set the record straight and clarified what his post was really all about. "Stop putting a spin into the post. Dahil dito lang yan," Jake wrote, adding a link to a SunStar article about Vice President Sara Duterte and her thoughts on her impeachment this year.
Earlier, Jake has stirred social media buzz after uploading a new video on his Instagram page. Jake shared the video highlights from his daughter's birthday party on the photo-sharing app. However, what delighted many netizens was Jake and Andi Eigenmann giving a speech to Ellie together.
