Taiwanese actor Darren W@ng, widely recognized for his role in the romantic comedy Our Times, is reportedly being investigated for an alleged attempted murder case following his return to Taiwan from a recent trip.

According to reports, Darren arranged for a car ride after landing at Taiwan Taoyuan Airport but allegedly attacked both the driver and dispatcher after becoming upset over the vehicle’s condition.

Authorities have handed over Darren and another individual, identified as You, to law enforcement for further investigation into the attempted murder allegations, as reported by TVBS.

In response to the situation, Darren’s manager issued a brief statement, saying, “We are still trying to understand the situation. Thank you.”

This is not the first time Darren has faced legal trouble.

Previously, he was arrested in Taiwan for allegedly attempting to evade military service, which he is scheduled to begin on March 13.

Reports indicate that Darren was detained on February 18 but released on bail the same day after paying nearly NT$150,000 (approximately PhP260,000).

He was accused of spending around NT$1 million (about PhP1.7 million) to obtain falsified medical records claiming he had a heart condition in order to secure an exemption from service.
