Sam Milby broke down in tears when he talked about his breakup with Catriona Gray in "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda."

"Honestly not well. Like I said, any breakup is not easy. It's hard to talk about yung breakup namin. It's something that I didn't want to talk about...I did an interview, it was mainly to clear yung issue, it's so sad na with social media now, people just wanna connect so many things, believe so many things, na walang katotohanan.and i felt the ned to clear yung issue that there was no third party and yung sinasabi nila na si Moira yung third party, I wanted to make that clear. but it's something i actually i didn't want to talk about...and out of respect sa kanya, i still don't want to talk about it..."

He kept on saying that it has really been rough for him.

"It's been rough. No breakup is easy. It's really been rough. It wasn't only mag-boyfriend or girlfriend kami. We were engaged. And to have that not push through. It's been really rough. When that happened in the last few weeks, yeah, it's been really rough."

He also noted that being honest is just way better.

"I think it's better to just be honest about it."

Catriona Gray is a beauty queen, singer, performer, host, and endorser in the Philippines. She rose to fame after winning Miss Universe 2018 representing the Philippines. Catriona is in a relationship with actor Sam Milby. In February of 2023, Queen Cat and Sam happily shared with the public that they were already engaged. They announced the good news on their respective social media accounts.

Recently, a video also showing Catriona Gray and Sam Milby at separate check-in counters at the airport has gone viral. In the video, which was uploaded by a netizen on social media, showed the two celebrities at separate, yet side by side, airport check in counters. The two appeared very busy minding their own things at the counter and appeared oblivious to one another’s presence. It can be recalled that Catriona had deleted the photo of their engagement though there was no official statement from either two about the real status of their relationship amid breakup rumors.

It can be recalled that the two were also recently spotted on the same flight en route to Canada. The flight was for Cornerstone's "All-Star Canada" which Sam and Catriona are a part of. However, many were quick to notice that the two were no longer sitting beside one another. It is worth noting that back in May, Catriona deleted her engagement photos with Sam.
