Sandro Muhlach is on the path to healing while remaining resolute in pursuing his legal battle, according to his father, actor Niño Muhlach.

“Bilang tatay, support lang ako. Pag sinabi patatawarin, OK. Pero gusto niya ilaban eh, siyempre sa kanya nangyari. Kasi parang hirap parang binenta mo ginawa sa kanya if mag-settle,” he said in an interview in Quezon City on Saturday afternoon, as per ABS-CBN's report.

Niño shared that Sandro has been gradually recovering, although the effects of the ordeal remain.

“Dati from three times a week therapy, once na lang. Nakaka-taping na. Dati ayaw lumabas sa maraming tao. Lagi nagkukulong sa kwarto, kahit kami ayaw harapin,” he shared.

A crucial source of strength for Sandro has been his girlfriend, Shanelle Agustin.

“Hindi siya kumakain, ang laking bagay ni Shanelle. Hindi siya pinabayaan, kumbaga naging sandigan niya. Believe ako sa bata. Di niya pinabayaan, pinatunayan mahal niya,” Niño said.

He emphasized that he has been behind his son every step of the way.

“Ever since, I was always behind him during the fight. Never ko pinabayaan, I got the best lawyers. Talagang full support,” he said.

Niño initially hesitated to make the issue public, fearing it would hurt Sandro more, but he soon realized the importance of speaking out.

“Noong kinukwento niya sakin nangyari, talagang nadurog puso ko at galit... Pero there is no other way,” he added.

That same night, Niño sought help from Sen. Bong Revilla and GMA executive Annette Gozon.

As Sandro continues to recover, Niño remains steadfast, ensuring justice is served while helping his son move forward.

Sandro Muhlach is the eldest son of veteran actor and former child star, Niño Muhlach. He started as a theatre actor when he was 13 years old and is now a Kapuso artist. Niño is among the most popular child actors during his time, alongside another hunk of the 80's and 90's Aga Muhlach.

As previously reported by KAMI, Sandro Muhlach recently aired a strong message for Atty. Maggie Garduque. Garduque is currently the lawyer behind Rita Daniela's case against Archie Alemania. On his Instagram page, Sandro said it was ironic to see Garduque standing with a victim of assault seeing as she is the lawyer of the two contractors.

Meanwhile, Sandro Muhlach issued a statement after the Department of Justice filed cases against his alleged abusers. In his statement published on Instagram, Sandro expressed how difficult it was for him to tell the public that he was abused. The eldest son of Niño Muhlach likewise said he had to endure online bullying in addition to the trauma.
