Robi Domingo, may nilinaw tungkol sa buradong 'threat' comment ng netizen

Robi Domingo, a Filipino TV host, recently clarified a few things about the comment that his basher had left on his Instagram page.

Previously, Robi expressed his delight after he and Melai Cantiveros were chosen to host the legendary show, Pilipinas Got Talent.

However, a basher of his left a comment on his post, seemingly threatening the Filipino TV host.

Following this news, Robi visited the NBI and met with Chief Bomediano and Attorney Tucay, where he then asked a few questions.

According to Robi, anyone is free to file a legal complaint against any government agency.

He also shared to his followers, "Always take screenshots of your complaint and the URL. Even if it's deleted, the digital trace is still there. (If someone deletes it, it could show intent.)"

Eventually, in the comment section of this post, Robi clarified that he did not delete the comment.

"BTW, I didn't delete the comment the troll made. It was him/her who removed it from the comment section thus deleting the whole thread. (Also, it may become additional proof of intent because of malice.)"

By the end of his online post, Robi also reminded netizens that every action has its consequences.

"Remember, every action has consequences, whether online or offline. Let's be kind and take responsibility," the TV host had written.

Meanwhile, other local celebrities rallied behind Robi and extended their support for the host.

"Nakatutok kami from all over the world! Go, Robi!" Iza Calzado wrote, with her comment gaining many likes from netizens on social media.

Other netizens also chimed in and thanked Robi for 'taking the initiative' to enlighten people.

"Tama yan, yung iba kasi akala mo may karapatan na manlait at manakot online," one netizen said while another one wrote, "Regardless of intent, it's important to remain accountable for our actions in the digital space. Engaging in cyber threats, even under the guise of trolling, is not advisable and can have serious consequences."

Robi Domingo is a Filipino VJ and host. He first gained fame as a Pinoy Big Brother contestant, ending up as the first runner-up of the reality competition series. The Kapamilya star used to be in a relationship with Gretchen Ho before getting into a relationship with Maiqui Pineda, whom he married in January 2024.

Meanwhile, Robi Domingo posted a life update on social media. Just recently, Robi uploaded a bunch of photos that were taken at the hospital. According to Robi, he and Maiqui Pineda spent 10 hours in the hospital. Apparently, Maiqui was getting some IV treatment for her health.
