Jerry Yan, a famous Taiwanese actor, just penned a heartbreaking note on Barbie Hsu's sudden passing this year at the age of 48.
@SMilkdrama on X has shared a translation of Jerry's new post on Weibo, a famous Chinese microblogging social media site.
In his viral post, Jerry expressed his gratitude for being able to meet Barbie during her 'carefree, childlike years' back in the past.
According to Jerry, his former co-star would always tell them to 'live every day as if it were your last' and to enjoy life 'to the fullest.'

"Thankful for meeting you, in your carefree childlike years, you always said to live every day as if it were your last and enjoy it to the fullest. I hope this time, you will go slowly and from now on, in another world, there will be no troubles and the years will be peaceful," Jerry had written online.
It is worth recalling that Jerry and Barbie starred in the 2001 series, Meteor Garden, serving as the first live adaptation of the Japanese manga, Hana Yori Dango, which became a huge hit in Asia.
Barbie and Jerry played lead roles in the series, with Barbie as Shan Cai and Jerry as Dao Ming Si.
