On X, formerly Twitter, the young Kapuso star shared her reaction to the unfortunate news.
“This is so heartbreaking,” she wrote, accompanied by a broken heart emoji.

Barbie went on to pen her heartfelt farewell message to the deceased movie and television icon.
“Buong buhay ko pong ipagmamalaki na nakatrabaho ko po kayo. Rest in paradise, Ms. Gloria Romero,” Barbie earnestly penned along with a throwback photo of herself with Gloria.
Gloria Romero is a renowned Filipino actress with a career spanning over seven decades in Philippine cinema and television. Born on December 16, 1933, she rose to fame in the 1950s and became one of the most iconic leading ladies of her era. She starred in numerous classic films under Sampaguita Pictures, including Dalagang Ilocana (1954), which earned her the first-ever FAMAS Best Actress award.
Throughout her illustrious career, Romero successfully transitioned to television, endearing herself to new generations of audiences with roles in popular drama series and sitcoms. Recognized as a pillar of the Philippine entertainment industry, she has received numerous lifetime achievement awards for her contributions to film and television.

She highlighted that as a young girl, she was mesmerized by the beauty and brilliance of the veteran actress. She also underscored the authenticity, elegance and grace of Tita Glo. "Tita Glo had this remarkable way of making everyone around her feel valued and respected," Charo wrote.
Eastwood City and the German Moreno Walk of Fame Foundation also joined in remembering the veteran actress. Based on the photo posted by Eastwood Mall on social media, Gloria was offered flowers at her star on the Walk of Fame. In the caption, the mall in Quezon City paid a heartfelt tribute to the movie and television icon.
