Marc Nelson finally released a statement addressing 'speculations' that were being made about his involvement in Maggie Wilson and Victor Consunji's viral case.

On Wednesday, January 22, Marc took to Instagram to share an alleged conversation he's had with Connor, the estranged couple's son, which convinced him to testify.

In his online post, Marc said that his only concern regarding the matter was Connor's welfare.

"My only concern regarding this matter is the welfare of their son, who happens to be my godson. He has already experienced many changes in his life and unfortunately, has to navigate them publicly," the TV host said in his now-viral lengthy statement online.

He then shared his alleged conversation with Connor, and how the latter was allegedly upset about his mother's social media posts about him amid the dispute.

"In a one-on-one conversation, he expressed to me how upset he has been about the social media posts his mother has made concerning him during the dispute between his parents. He specifically shared that these posts place him in an uncomfortable position, drawing unwanted attention and questions from both peers and adults. Attention he neither likes nor wants."

By the end of his statement, Marc said that he had no desire to be involved in Maggie and Victor's dispute and that his only concern was Connor and his wellbeing.

"For the record, whilst I know both parents, I have intentionally never gotten involved in their dispute and have no desire to. My only concern has always been my godson and his wellbeing."

Maggie Wilson is a TV Actress, beauty queen, model and entrepreneur. She was nominated as Miss Pilipinas-World and represented the country in the 57th Miss World Pageant. She also acted as 'Litgarda' in the series Darna.

As previously reported by KAMI, Maggie Wilson expressed delight at the new hope brought about by a court decision at the beginning of the year. In a social media post, Maggie said she’s starting the year with "some good news." She then went on to reveal in a subsequent post what the “good news” was all about.

Meanwhile, Maggie Wilson once again talked about divorce. On Instagram, Maggie posted a text card about her thoughts on divorce and legalizing it. This was posted after the Philippines' Independence Day celebration this year. Needless to say, Maggie's post on social media stirred online buzz once more.
