Jake Ejercito, in a recent post on Facebook, said he got tired of waiting for “Langga” the night before.

It can be recalled that the photo shared by Jake who appeared to be waiting for someone on what looked like a bridge in Iloilo City went viral.

The caption on the pic was written in fluent Ilonggo and was addressed to “Langga,” the local dialect’s endearment for someone beloved.

“Langga, dugay ka pa? Kung diin diin nako nakakadto sige hulat sa imo 😔,” Jake wrote in the Ilonggo dialect, which in loose English mean: “Beloved, what’s taking you so long? I’ve gone to many different places continuously searching for you.”

Netizens had a field day replying with their own humorous Ilonggo, Karay-a, Waray, and Visayan languages, with all of them supplying funny reasons why they’re not there with Jake.

The morning after, Jake once again posted a photo of himself enjoying breakfast at an eatery.

He wrote another Ilonggo caption, which again amused many netizens with many of them making humorous replies.

“Ginkapoy nako hulat sa imo kagab-i, langga. mayo lang namit ang pamahaw ko sa Roberto’s,” Jake wrote in his caption, which in English meant: “I got tired of waiting for you last night, my beloved. It’s good that I had a delicious breakfast at Roberto’s.”

Like his previous post, netizen once again supplied humorous replies in the vernacular to Jake’s caption.

“Una nga timo akon na langga hah manda ka 😂,” a netizen said, which in English meant “Your first bite is mine beloved, promise me that.”
