Although it wasn't sure yet if the viral girl sampaguita vendor was indeed Jenny, Tan showed in another Facebook post that she sent the girl some financial help through.

In another viral report related to the 'Sampaguita Girl' and SM Megamall security guard, John Arcilla expressed his frank thoughts on the video of a security guard and a girl selling sampaguita garlands. The guard assigned at SM Megamall shooed the young girl away and also destroyed the flowers. In an Instagram post, John emotionally expressed, “Such a sad video to watch.” The actor also aired support for the child vendor and called out the guard.
