Rosmar Tan identified the student believed to be the 'Sampaguita Girl' from the viral video.

In a Facebook post, Rosmar shared that the girl's name is "Jenny," a first-year Medtech student.

She also clarified that the 'Sampaguita Girl' and 'Vics Girl' are not the same person, addressing the rumors online.

While it's still uncertain if Jenny is truly the viral Sampaguita vendor, Rosmar posted proof that she sent financial assistance to the girl via E-wallet.

On one of her posts, Rosmar wrote: "Binigyan ko rin sya ng 10k para di mo na kailangan magtinda sa labas ng sampaguita. Mag tinda ka nalang ng inihaw o Rosmar Skincare sa labas ng bahay nyo. Godbless sayo Jenny."

Rosmar Tan, also known as Rosemarie Tan, became known on social media for her acts of helping netizens, especially during the pandemic. The number of followers on her social media accounts gradually grew.

In a previous report by KAMI, Rosmar Tan explained that she went to the ER due to spotting she experienced while pregnant. She said she needed to undergo an ultrasound but was required to go through the ER first, as per hospital protocol. She shared that during the ultrasound, she saw her baby's heartbeat, which previously was only a sac. Rosmar addressed negative comments, stating that only mothers would understand how she felt in that situation.

In another viral report related to the 'Sampaguita Girl' and SM Megamall security guard, John Arcilla expressed his frank thoughts on the video of a security guard and a girl selling sampaguita garlands. The guard assigned at SM Megamall shooed the young girl away and also destroyed the flowers. In an Instagram post, John emotionally expressed, “Such a sad video to watch.” The actor also aired support for the child vendor and called out the guard.
