Paolo Contis has revealed one of the greatest fear he has.

In a podcast interview with Buboy Villar and Tuesday Vargas, Paolo said he dreads the day that his daughters would be dating someone that has the same characteristics like him.

He said that while his daughters’ meeting their future partners is something that he’s been preparing himself for, he said their meeting someone like him causes him anxiety and fear.

“It’s gonna happen anyway. Wala ka magagawa,” Paolo said when asked about his daughters having their respective dates in the future.

When asked what his reaction would be if his daughters’ partners would do the same thing that Paolo did to his ex-partners, he said that it is actually his greatest fear.

“Yun ang number one na ikinakatakot ko,” Paolo said.

The podcast hosts then asked what he would do if his daughters go for someone that could be regarded as his younger self, Paolo immediately said he would slap them.

“Sasampalin ko agad. Ever since naman, the goal is to be a guy na gusto mong manligaw sa mga anak mo ay tulad mo. Sadly, you make mistakes. Now, masasabi ko na ‘yung Paolo mga 10 or 15 years ago, naku. Diyos ko Lord. Sasampalin ko talaga ‘yan,” Paolo said during the interview.

Paolo Contis is a Filipino actor and comedian who appeared in his acting debut in the ABS-CBN comedy show "Ang TV". Paolo is also known for being part of the primetime comedy series "Oki Doki Doc". He has won several awards, particularly at the PMPC Star Awards. His celebrity ex-partners include Lian Paz and LJ Reyes.

In the same podcast interview, Paolo also answered questions as to whether it's okay for ex-partners to be friends. He said he doesn't believe that ex-partners should be friends, except for some really sufficient reason. He also said it's important to have some respect on one's current partner and it would be awkward if someone is friends with his or her ex-partner. He also said ex-partners could be civil to each other but it's different from being friends.
