On Monday, January 6, KC took to the photo-sharing app to upload an old photo of herself hugging the Megastar, making netizens tear up.

However, what had netizens turning emotional even further online was KC's heartfelt and loving note for her mother on her special day.
According to KC, her mother, Sharon, was always her sunshine when she was growing up.

She then proceeded to call the Megastar her first best friend, Valentine, Secret Santa, and most of all, her very first and one and only idol.
"Happy birthday to the woman who was always my sunshine growing up! My first best friend, my first Valentine, my secret Santa, my first idol, my one and only! We’ve been through a lot together, but like a sunflower, you always manage to turn towards the light… And now, you show me how to do the same. I love you, my beautiful Mama. Happy birthday," KC had written on her Instagram.

The actress also used to date actor Piolo Pascual and music artist Rico Blanco. She starred in an international movie that has been shown in local cinemas.
