However, while they were walking past Fort Strip, it suddenly hit them that Ogawa, a restaurant they frequented, was part of the area.

"Storytime at midnight: Earlier tonight, after dinner, we decided to take a walk around BGC to burn some calories. While strolling past Fort Strip, we remembered seeing an IG post about it closing down—and that’s when it hit us: Ogawa, the very first place we went on a date back in 2017, was actually part of Fort Strip," she wrote.

It is worth noting that BGC just announced the closure of the Fort Strip starting on January 1, 2025.

"Ogawa has always been so sentimental to us. It’s become a tradition to go back every anniversary, order the same meals, and relive the memories of our first date. Seeing it closed broke our hearts! We were so sad, and yes, I was crying huhu. This place holds so many special memories for us, and we really hope they reopen someday so we can celebrate there again," Gabbi wrote online.
