Darryl Yap, niresbakan si Arnold Clavio: “Wag mo kong malecture-lecturan”

Darryl Yap, in a lengthy Facebook post, clapped back at Arnold Clavio for expressing his opinion against the director’s movie, and at the same time, asked the broadcaster not to lecture him.

It can be recalled that Arnold expressed his opinion regarding Direk Darryl’s new movie about “Pepsi Paloma.”
The movie, based on its teaser, appear to be about the molestation of the young star, allegedly by several known personalities.
What made the movie more controversial was the mention of the name of one such personalities in a scene.

In his “open letter” to the broadcaster, the director called Arnold out for saying the controversial movie will never be approved by the MTRCB.
“Sino ka, para pangunahan ang pamunuan ng mtrcb na harangin ang pelikulang hindi pa nararating ang kanilang tanggapan. Hindi lang pambabastos sa pinaghirapan namin— kundi maging kay MTRCB Chair Lala Sotto ang pinagsasasabi mo—SINO KA, PARA MAGDESISYON PARA SA KANYA,” Direk Darryl wrote.
“Pinagmumukha mo siyang may gustong pagtakpan at natatakot— Hindi ganon si Chair Lala, pinakita na niya ang kanyang pagiging patas sa maraming sitwasyon,” he added.
Direk Darryl also asked Arnold not to “sabotage” the movie.
“Alam mo Igan, malinaw naman na di natin feel ang isa’t-isa, pero wag ka naman manabotahe,” the director said.
Near the end of his post, Direk Darryl told Arnold not to lecture him on morality and on what is right and what is wrong.
“Wag mo kong malecture-lecturan sa moralidad at tama o mali ha— yung ibinibintang sa akin— puro imbento. puro bunganga. Yung sa’yo…may bunga,” Direk Darryl said.
Darryl Yap is a Filipino filmmaker director and screenwriter known for producing controversial films and online content. He is also behind VinCentiments, a social media platform that produces short films and viral videos that often deal with issues of life society and politics.
Recently, Direk Darryl also issued a statement against Sarsi Emmanuel about the credibility of his movie about Pepsi Paloma. The director slammed the comment of the actress, who for him appeared to be in doubt about the source of the story of the movie. According to Direk Darryl, he won't allow people to make it appear that he's a liar. He also asked the public to wait for the movie to be released so they would know the entire story.
Meanwhile previously, the director, in a series of screenshots posted by FashionPulis, said he wouldn’t refuse if given money by perceived rivals of the Sottos or TVJ because of his new movie about Pepsi Paloma. In one of the screenshots made available by FashionPulis, Direk Darryl said he wouldn’t refuse if certain personalities would give him money because they found his new movie favorable to them. It can be recalled that the famous director’s name once again became subject of controversy after he posted teaser video of his new movie about the late movie star. Direk Darryl, however, emphasized that his new movie is neither political, nor directed against the Sottos, adding that he doesn’t want to get involved in whatever drama they’re in.
