Carlos Edriel Yulo, the sensational Filipino Olympian who made history during the 2024 Paris Olympics when he won two gold medals in gymnastics, was starstruck with Pop Star Princess, Sarah Geronimo.

The two famous Pinoy celebrities were among those invited in business and media mogul Manny V. Pangilinan’s “Merry ang Vibes ng Pasko: The MVP Group Christmas Party.”

The two soon crossed paths and so took the opportunity of having their photo taken together.

The Pinoy Olympian, after taking the selfie, immediately shared the photo on his Facebook account where it immediately gained more than a thousand reacts.

In his caption, Carlos wrote a simple phrase, though added two emojis that gave indication he is starstruck by the Pop Star Princess.

“With Ms. Sarah Geronimo 🙌🏻🤩,” Carlos wrote, adding the raised hands emoji and the smiling face with two star-eyes emoji, indicating he’s starstruck.
“Merry ang Vibes ng Pasko: The MVP Group Christmas Party tonight at 5:30PM on TV5, Sari Sari, BuKo Channel, One PH #MerryAngVibesNgPasko #MVPGroup 🎅🏻🎄 at Smart Araneta Coliseum,” the caption continued.

In the photo, the two were all smiles with Carlos pointing towards Sarah.

The event, as indicated in the caption on the Pinoy Olympian’s post, was held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Carlos Yulo is a Filipino artistic gymnast known for his exceptional skills and achievements in gymnastics. He gained international recognition for his performances in various competitions, particularly in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He also bagged two gold medals from the Paris Olympics.

Last month, Carlos was featured in the magazine, Esquire Philippines, and was dubbed "Athlete of the Year." He was also named by the magazine as one of the 'Man at His Best' for this year. It can be recalled that "Caloy" is the only 2-time Olympic gold medalist of the Philippines in the recently concluded Paris Olympics 2024. In an interview by Esquire Philippines with Yulo, he said he'd still do his best to get another medal.

Previously, he also added another feather on his cap when he became the feature story and landed on the cover of the October issue of the prestigious Tatler Philippines. Tatler Philippines, a trusted high-society and luxury lifestyle magazine, features the lives and stories of influential people in the Philippines. In a recent announcement, Tatler revealed it will feature the twin Olympic gold medalist whom the magazine called “a beacon of inspiration and national pride.” It also said their interview of Carlos covered stories about his “dedication, unwavering determination, and the support of those who believed in him.”
