Jose Manalo at Mergene Maranan, emosyonal na nagpalitan ng wedding vows

Jose Manalo and former EB Babe Mergene Maranan emotionally exchanged wedding vows on their big day.

Recently, Mayad Studios published the official wedding video of the lovely couple, which featured their touching vows.

Mergene began her message by looking back on how she and Jose first met.

“Una kitang nakita sa audition ko sa 'Eat Bulaga,' 'Ganda ng Pare Ko,' ikaw ang nagpapa-audition. Napasama ako sa Babes at do'n naging magkatrabaho tayo.”

She continued, “Meron pang interview minsan at naitanong kung sino ang crush ko sa mga artista. Ang sagot ko ay Jose Manalo at siyempre, si Lloydie. Na hindi ko akalain na ikaw pala ang makakasama at mamahalin ko habambuhay.”

The stunning bride went on to reflect on their relationship’s journey.

“Dada, heto na tayo. Finally we made it! Ang araw na sobrang tagal nating hinintay na dumating. Maraming araw ang dumating na gusto ko nang sumuko sa sitwasyon, alam mo 'yan. Pero pinagdasal kita sa Baclaran Church, nine Wednesdays yon at ikaw ang ibinigay sa akin ni Lord.”

“Sa lahat ng mali ko, ikaw lang ang tama,” Gene added.

On the other hand, Jose was in tears as he aired his affectionate message to Gene.

“Lagi mong tatandaan, 'yung kilig mo sa akin, nawawala. 'Yung excite mo sa akin, nawawala. Pero tandaan mo 'to, araw-araw kitang sasamahan. Araw-araw kitang mamahalin. I love you Ma,” said the comedian.
