Sofronio Vasquez, who won 'The Voice USA,' recently appeared on 'It’s Showtime' to talk about his incredible journey on the international stage.
During his interview, Sofronio shared his experience working with his coach, Canadian singer Michael Bublé.
Sofronio expressed his gratitude for Michael’s sincerity and support during the competition. He also mentioned Michael’s genuine affection for the Philippines

"Masaya po ako na along the way, talagang sincere, at totoong pagmamahal yung galing kay Michael Bublé para sa Pilipinas. At shinare po niya na meron po siyang deep connection sa Pilipinas. Kasi kumapre niya raw po si Martin Nievera at meron daw po siyang naka-date na kilala nating lahat na Diyosa sa atin," Sofronio shared.

Sofronio Vasquez is a Filipino singer who became famous after being declared the champion of The Voice Season 26 in America. Prior to this, he participated in local singing competitions in the Philippines such as Tawag ng Tanghalan and The Voice Philippines.
In a previous report by KAMI, Sofronio Vasquez, The Voice USA grand champion, is set to receive a Philippine peso equivalent of more than six million and a recording contract. It can be recalled that the Pinoy recently made history as the first Asian to have ever won The Voice USA. In an Inquirer report, the grand champion will receive $100,000 and a recording contract with Universal Music Group. He was declared The Voice USA 26th season winner after his rousing performance of “A Million Dreams."
Earlier, Sofronio’s win at the Season 26 of The Voice is also the first win of Michael Bublé as a coach of the singing contest. Sofronio bested four other finalists from Team Bublé, Team Reba, Team Snoop, and Team Gwen. He grew up in the Philippines but transferred to the United States in the year 2022 to try to bring realization to his dream in music. In a statement, Sofronio gave tribute to his late father, whom he said taught him to love music.
